We collect information you provide, including your name, mobile phone number, email address, mailing or street address, and information you submit when requesting a yard sign, volunteering, contacting the Campaign, or signing up for updates.

For mobile messaging, we record your opt-in, including the date, time, and method of consent and the exact consent language presented to you. We retain records of messages sent to and received from supporters, including related delivery and opt-out records.

Our website may also collect technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, and interactions with the website through cookies and similar technologies used for website operation, security, and analytics.

How We Use Information

We use information to respond to inquiries, coordinate volunteer activities and yard-sign requests, provide campaign updates, maintain and protect the website, and operate our mobile messaging program. We use mobile messaging consent records to document your permission to receive texts and to honor opt-out requests.

The mobile messaging program provides recurring automated campaign updates, event and volunteer invitations, and voting reminders. Donations will not be solicited by text message.

Mobile Information and SMS Opt-In

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. SMS opt-in will not be sold, rented, or shared.

Service Providers

We use service providers, including the SMS platform, to operate the messaging program on our behalf. Program data is provided to these service providers only as necessary to run the program, such as delivering messages, maintaining consent records, and processing help or opt-out requests. They are permitted to use that data only to provide those services to the Campaign, and not for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

We also use providers to host and secure the website and process supporter forms and email updates. The protections for mobile information and SMS opt-in data stated above apply to the mobile messaging program.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the services you requested, administer the Campaign’s activities and messaging program, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Consent records are retained as proof of consent for as long as needed to demonstrate compliance and resolve related inquiries or disputes. We retain opt-out records as needed to ensure that a request to stop messages continues to be honored. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete it or de-identify it.

Your Choices, Opt-Out, and Help

You may opt out of the mobile messaging program at any time by replying STOP, QUIT, END, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE to a Campaign text message. You will receive one final confirmation of your opt-out, after which no further messages will be sent through the program.

You may use the unsubscribe link in a Campaign email to stop receiving email updates. You may also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you have provided. Children Under 13

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us so we can take steps to delete it. The mobile messaging program is available only to U.S. residents who are 18 or older.
